Using the refrigerated van as a fridge

Get to know the size and height of your refrigerated van

Manoeuvring and unhitching the trailer

Vehicle

Make sure that the rear doors are properly closed before you drive off.
Remember to remove the key from the ignition whenever you exit the vehicle.
You are not insured against theft if you have left your vehicle parked with the key in the ignition.
Avoid parking your refrigerated van or trailer in direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
The tailgate lift works off the vehicle battery.
Avoid using it too frequently whenever the engine is switched off.

Refrigeration Unit

With the engine switched off, the refrigeration unit must be plugged in to operate. Use the extension leads issued for this purpose.
Avoid opening the rear doors for long periods to preserve the cold temperature inside the refrigerated van.
