Isuzu D-Max :
the innovative refrigerated vehicle

Petit Forestier has worked on an innovative refrigerated box to offer a light commercial vehicle with enhanced insulation and superior adaptability and performance. Developed to adapt to the climate and the roads of South Africa, the new Isuzu D-Max pick-up features a multitude of performance enhancements:

  • Record temperature reduction, with only 30 min. needed to cool down from +25°C to -18°C, in any season.
  • Reduced fuel consumption by 7%, thanks to the vehicle ergonomics and efficient cooling.
  • Large vehicle capacity, allowing bigger payload to be transported.
  • Ergonomic cab position, making it safer and more comfortable for the driver.
  • Fewer felt vibrations and noise, making it a more enjoyable driving experience.
  • Sturdier vehicle and optimal ground clearance, reducing the wear and tear whatever the road.

Petit Forestier committed to promote diversity and inclusion

Since 2022, Petit Forestier has regularly supported truck driving training for women in South Africa, by regularly lending trucks for free to Commercial Transport Academy, a 100% female operated organisation based in Johannesburg.

By helping the training and development of women to become truck drivers, Petit Forestier aims to help addressing gender inequality, break down stereotypes, contribute to reduce skills shortage and as such, promote diversity and inclusion. It has also recently allowed the recruitment of refrigeration specialist.

Eco-friendly driving course

Eco-driving is a course offered by Petit Forestier that aims to optimise vehicle use, drive down the costs associated with accidents and reduce environmental impact. It brings benefits for the environment, the company and the driver.
